The Castle Creations Cobra 6 8S 1/6 Brushless ESC and Motor Combo is engineered for large-scale 1/7 and 1/6 vehicles weighing up to 20 pounds and running up to 8S LiPo. Built for heavy, high-performance rigs, it delivers smooth low-end control without sacrificing torque, punch, or top-end speed. Based on the Monster X 8S architecture, the Cobra 6 elevates performance with a powerful 32-bit processor, expanded data logging, and advanced tuning flexibility. Paired with the 1717 sensored motor, this combo provides a complete, high-efficiency power system for demanding applications.
Advanced Processing & Control
The Cobra 6 is powered by a 32-bit processing platform that enhances throttle precision, motor control, and responsiveness under load. This architecture allows the ESC to react quickly to changing conditions, improving consistency during acceleration, braking, and high-stress driving. CRYO-DRIVE thermal management further boosts efficiency by reducing heat generation during partial-throttle operation.
Data Logging & Tuning Flexibility
A significantly expanded data logging suite provides double the sample frequency and eight times the recording duration of previous generations. Additional data points, including electrical motor timing and acceleration from the onboard accelerometer, give drivers deeper insight into system behavior. Adjustable braking curves, a wide-range internal BEC, and multiple programming pathways such as the included Castle Link V4 USB-C and optional Castle Creations B-Link Bluetooth Interface (CSE011-0181-00 - sold separately), offer complete control over ESC setup.
Sensored Motor Performance
The included 1717 sensored motor is built for large-scale power delivery with exceptional efficiency and thermal stability. Its four-pole, twelve-slot design reduces heat while maintaining strong torque output, and dual sensor ports ensure flexible installation. Oversized bearings, high-temperature neodymium magnets, and a Kevlar-wrapped rotor provide durability under extreme loads and high RPM operation, making it an ideal match for the Cobra 6 ESC.

*Tech Note: Due to the high-power nature of the Cobra 6, you must use appropriately sized batteries and connectors. We recommend a minimum 150-amp connector for the Cobra 6; examples include Castle 6.5mm and 6.5mm polarized, QS8, or QS10 Anti Spark. Do NOT use high-voltage batteries that run over 4.2 volts per cell when running the 8S max cell count.
**Tech Note: While designed to be waterproof, the Cobra 6 is not intended to run while completely submerged. Additionally, the cooling fan is not waterproof and must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions.
***Tech Note: Although many users have run the Cobra 6 in high-speed and drag applications, it is not designed for this purpose. Failures resulting from use on these applications are not covered under the Castle Creations warranty.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
